Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F/gas mark 6
  2. Lightly toast the bread
  3. Spray a baking tray with spray oil
  4. Place the slices of bread on the baking tray

  6. Add the sliced red onion, sliced ham, and mozzarella cheese
  7. Top with tomato slices
  8. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar, season with salt and black pepper
  9. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the toast is golden brown
  10. Sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs
  11. Serve with your choice of sides
