INGREDIENTS
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on, excess fat and skin trimmed
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp onion powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes. After preheating, spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- In a large zip-top bag or bowl with a lid, add the chicken thighs, kosher salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and onion powder. Shake to coat the chicken evenly.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side down, and cook for 12 minutes.
- Turn the chicken thighs skin side up and cook for an additional 10 minutes. If you prefer your chicken to be super crispy, cook for an additional 4 minutes, checking regularly.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve immediately.
